Formed in 2001, near Toronto Canada, BODHI takes its name from the ancient Sanskrit word for “awakened”.

Informed by the intersection of Eastern and Western philosophy, ancient mysteries, and modern popular music, BODHI’s songs express the poetry of the human journey toward awakening.

These are songs about what it is to be human; our struggle to exist in a sympathetic relationship to each other, and the living world around us.

The progress of the human heart is one of longing for things we cannot name. BODHI songs tell the story of this longing; the search for the essence and meaning in it all.
